None appears for the petitioner, although the State is represented through counsel.

Learned counsel appearing for the State, in his usual fairness, concedes to the prayer in the writ petition to the extent that the representation of the writ petitioner annexed at page 14 of the writ petition shall be considered by the Secretary, State Transport Authority, West Bengal, expeditiously.

Accordingly, WPA No. 7947 of 2022 is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 4, that is, the Secretary, State Transport Authority, West Bengal, to consider the representation of the petitioner (Annexure - P3 at page 14 of the writ petition) dated March 8, 2022, upon giving appropriate opportunity of hearing to the petitioner in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, positively within May 31, 2022.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
