None appears on behalf of the opposite party. It appears from the report submitted by the Assistant Registrar - IV dated 31.08.2021 that in pursuance of an order administrative notice was issued to the sole petitioner and it was duly served upon him. Despite receiving of notice today, he does not turn up.

It appears that the instant revisional application is preferred challenging the impugned orders dated 15.11.2002 and 21.01.2003 passed by the Rent Controller, Jalpaiguri.

It appears that the matter is pending since the year 2003 and accordingly there is reasonable ground to believe that the petitioner is no longer interested to proceed with the present case. Accordingly, the revisional application being CO/997/2003 is dismissed for default.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

There will be no order as to costs.
