In spite of service, none appears on behalf of the Staterespondents. Under such circumstances, this Court engages Mr. Ranjan Saha, an empanelled advocate for the State of West Bengal, his engagement be regularized.

The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher of Panchla Girls' High Madrasah.

The District Inspector of Schools (SE), Howrah, the respondent no. 3 herein, by the order impugned bearing Memo No. 489/M dated August 27, 2018 has rejected the prayer of the petitioner for Post Graduate scale of pay.

The order is bereft of any reason, therefore is set aside on the said ground alone.

The respondent no. 3 is directed to reconsider the prayer of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order after giving the petitioner an opportunity.

WPA 8311 of 2023 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance of all requisite formalities.
