The grievance is also directed against the private respondent No. 8 and the Officers of the Excise Department for an alleged disclosure of the password of the petitioner's liquor shop. The petitioner inducted the private respondent No. 8 into the business.

After hearing learned counsel appearing for the parties including the learned Government Pleader appearing for the Excise Authorities, it appears that the petitioner wrote to the Collector and the Superintendent of Excise, North 24 Parganas on 23.03.2023 ventilating his grievance against the respondent. Admittedly, this representation has not been answered by the concerned respondent till date.

WPA 8316 of 2023 is disposed of with the direction on the Collector of Excise, North 24 Parganas

being the respondent No. 4 to consider and dispose of the representation by way of a reasoned order upon hearing the petitioner as well as the private respondent No. 8 within 5th June, 2023. A copy of the reasoned order shall be made available to the petitioner by 9th June, 2023. All points agitated before the Court are kept pending.
