Mr. Supreem Naskar... For the petitioner Against the petitioner, a case under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 has been initiated and the same is pending before the learned Judge, Special Court, 4th Court, Krishnanagar, Nadia in Special Case No.8/2006 (R-08/2006).

Mr. Supreem Naskar, learned advocate appears for the petitioner. He submits that his cognizance has been taken in the year 2006. He prays for a direction for expeditious disposal of the trial. Having regard to the innocuous nature of prayer, I dispose of this revisional application, directing the learned Special Court, 4th Court, Krishnanagar, Nadia to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from date since the outcome of the case shall have a bearing on the service of the petitioner. With this observation, the revisional application being CRR 1099 of 2021 is disposed of.
