Diverse attempts have been made by both the parties to arrive at an amicable settlement.

In view of the suggestions made on behalf of the parties, WPA of along with an application being CAN 1 of 2026 stands disposed of by directing the concerned District Magistrate having jurisdiction to deal with the grievance of the petitioner as to whether there is an alternative available site for relocation of the transformer which is presently in front of the premises of the petitioner.

It is made clear that there has been no adjudication on the merits of the case and all

questions are left open for the concerned District Magistrate to be decided in accordance with law. The concerned District Magistrate is also requested to give notice of hearing on the CESC Limited.

The above exercise is to be completed within six weeks from the date of communication of this order. The subsisting interim order shall continue till the disposal of the above application by the District Magistrate.
