The petitioner is aggrieved by delayed investigation into Haridevpur Police Station Case No.577 of 2020 dated 22nd November 2020 under Sections 465/467/468/471/ 406 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is submitted by the State that several documents have been sought from the banks, IT and other authorities, which are yet to be received. The petitioner was also asked to produce several documents.

It is, however, noted that the investigation into the matter is inordinately delayed.

It is therefore ordered that the Haridevpur Police shall complete the investigation into the subject FIR within a period of three months from date mandatorily and positively. The petitioner shall extend all cooperation in the investigation.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
