Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is the de facto complainant/victim. She lodged an FIR, inter alia, under Section 498A of the Penal Code on 08.07.2021. Charge sheet could be submitted only on 31.01.2022. Cognizance was taken on 25.02.2022. In spite of this, till date the proceeding could not be concluded. Even charges could not be framed.

As a prayer has been made seeking expeditious disposal of a proceeding, no prejudice will be caused to anyone if an order is passed without causing service of notice upon the other side. It appears that there is some delay in conducting the proceeding. In view of the same, the learned Trial Court is directed to conclude the proceeding in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible. More particularly, let the issue of framing of charges be decided at the earliest, preferably within a period of six months from the next date fixed for hearing.

With these observations, the revisional application is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order may be supplied to the parties expeditiously, if applied for.
