Heard the learned Counsels appearing on behalf of the parties.

Petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition/application as per Rules within a month of resumption of normal functioning of the Court.

Subject to such undertaking, the application is taken up for hearing through video conference.

Accordingly, the application, being CRAN No.3630 of 2020, is disposed of.

We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses disclose recovery of narcotic substance above commercial quantity.

Under such circumstances and in the light of the statutory restrictions under Section 37 of the N. D. P. S. Act, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same preferably within six months from the next date fixed for recording evidence without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
