1. By way of this public interest litigation the petitioner alleges that the railway authorities have encroached to an area which was supposed to be a part of a water body.

2. In the report filed by the authorities in the form of an affidavit sworn by the Senior Divisional Engineer (Head Quarters), Eastern Railway it has been stated that the railway authorities will demolish the temporary site office of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited after the project with respect to Joka-Binay Badal Dinesh Bag Metro Railway is completed. Further, it has been undertaken by the railway authorities to dismantle the site office and restore the said character of the land in the said triangular portion in Dag No.15, Khatian No.721 after the working in respect Joka-Binay Badal Dinesh Bag Metro Railway is completed.

3. In the light of the stand taken by the Railway Administration in the affidavit, the same shall be complied with within a period of three months from

the date on which the work in respect of Joka-Binay Badal Dinesh Bag Metro Railway is completed.

4. With the above observation, this petition stands disposed of.
