Mr. Santanu Chatterjee ...for the State Petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition/application as per Rules within one month of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. Subject to such undertaking, the application is taken up for hearing through video conference.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that he has been falsely implicated in this case out of previous animosity. Petitioner is in custody since May 20, 2020.

Mr. Rana Mukherjee, learned advocate representing the State is present with Case Dairy.

Having considered the materials placed in the Case Dairy including the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. and also the period of detention already undergone by the petitioner, the prayer for bail is considered and allowed. Accordingly, the petitioner may find bail of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand) each, subject to the satisfaction of Learned Judge, Special Court under POCSO Act, Ranaghat. With this direction/observation C.R.M.5318 of 2020 and application being CRAN 1 of 2020 (Old No.3634 of 2020) are disposed of.

Learned appropriate Trial Court as well as all concerned authorities shall act in terms of the copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
