1. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that there was a scuffle between the locals. However, the petitioner is not responsible for commission of the alleged offence.

2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that as per the injury report contained in the case diary there was a grievous injury inflicted on the petitioner and the left angle of mandible was fractured. As per the statement of the injured as well as the independent eyewitness, the petitioner is the one who inflicted the injury.

3. Considering the incriminating materials available in the case diary, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.
