No. 29 KAUSHIK REJECTED C.R.M.(A) 1491 of 2023 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Palashipara Police Station Case No. 83 of 2023 dated 10.03.2023 under Sections 341/325/326/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

And In Re : Ratan Biswas ...... petitioner Mr. Asraf Mondal ....for the petitioner Ms. Faria Hossain Ms. Baisali Basu ....for the State The injured suffered grievous hurt.

The injury was inflicted by a sharp cutting weapon. The petitioner stands implicated in the incident of assault.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 1491 of 2023 is dismissed.
