The petitioner is an assistant teacher of Kumudini Balika Vidyalaya (H.S.). She made an application for general transfer along with necessary documents in the prescribed format. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said application has not been considered by the respondents till date.
None appears on behalf of the respondents.
In view of the order that I intend to pass no useful purpose will be served by keeping the writ petition pending.
As it appears that an application for general transfer is pending consideration at the end of the respondent authority, the instant application is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 2 being the Commissioner of School Education, West Bengal to consider the application of the petitioner for general transfer made by her in the prescribed format within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of a copy of this order.
The said respondent shall pass a reasoned order and communicate the same to the petitioner within three weeks thereafter.
The writ petition being W.P.A/6267/2020 and IA No.
CAN/1/2020(Old No.
CAN/4677/2020) stand disposed of.
Urgent xerox certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties after completion of all legal formalities.
