JM, 7th Court, South 24 Parganas.

The last of the orders which has been enclosed reflect date was been fixed for evidence on 29th of January, 2024.

More than seven years have passed since the initiation of the present case and the petitioner being a lady is being forced to go on court(s) on regular occasions. Having regard to the time period which has already elapsed, I direct the ld. Trial court to fix at least one date in every fortnight from the next date so fixed so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. No unnecessary adjournment be granted to any of the parties.

In case, there is any resolution of the local Bar, the ld. Magistrate will not stall the proceedings of the instant case. All efforts be taken by all the stakeholders to conclude the trial at the earliest.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 1342 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is also disposed of. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.
