Mr. Saibal Acharyya, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner, has placed before this Court a communication dated May 19, 2025, issued from the office of the Assistant Director, WBLRS & Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Sadar, Paschim Medinipur.

The said communication indicates that no vesting order in respect of the land in question could be traced.

In view of the above, I am of the considered opinion that the order dated July 8, 2024, has been duly complied with.

Consequently, the petitioner shall be at liberty to take appropriate steps, in accordance with law, against the Municipality.

Accordingly, CPAN 602 of 2025 stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
