The petitioner's application for transfer was rejected on the ground that it was hit by the 10% Rule. Counsel for the petitioner submits that three teachers have already been transferred and two teachers have joined the School. According to him, the 10% Rule can no longer be applied to the petitioner. The petitioner may, therefore, apply afresh for transfer in accordance with law and the same shall be dealt with by the respondent authorities in accordance with the 2015 Rules and within the time frame stipulated thereunder.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
