The petitioner has suffered a disciplinary proceeding. Being aggrieved by an order of punishment inflicted in the disciplinary proceeding, the petitioner has preferred the statutory appeal before the jurisdictional appellate authority annexure p-12 at page 70 to the writ petition.

Mr. Subir Sanyal, learned senior advocate submits the appeal kept pending since November 19, 2024.

Considering the submissions made on behalf of the parties and upon perusal of the materials on record, the jurisdictional appellate authority conclude the hearing after grating an opportunity of hearing to the relevant parties and by passing a reasoned order positively within a period of ninety days from the date of communication of this order.

It is made clear that, this court has not gone into the merits of this writ petition or in the merits of the appeal in any manner. The jurisdictional appellate authority shall proceed independently in accordance with law.

Since affidavits are not called for, the allegations made in this writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted by the respondents.

With the above observations and directions, this writ petition, WPA 8390 of 2025 stands disposed of, without any order as to costs.
