For respondent No. 8 Mr. Siddhantha Sarkar Mondal ........ for School Authority The matter relates to appointment of Assistant Head Court No. 24 11.01.2022 (Item No. 24) (AB) Master in Dhuliyan High Madrasah (H.S.).

The petitioners are the Assistant Teachers of the said High Madrasah.

Their grievance is that proper process was not followed for the purpose of constituting the selection committee for selecting the Assistant Head Master of the said High Madrasah.

On the prayer made by the petitioners the District Inspector of Schools, Secondary Education, Murshidabad fixed 25.03.2021 for hearing of the petition filed by the petitioners.

It is the case of the petitioners that on 25.03.2021 they duly attended the hearing but the District Inspector of Schools did not permit the petitioners to make their submissions.

The petitioners thereafter forwarded another representation to the District Inspector of Schools on 27.03.2021 and allege that the same has not been considered till date.

The learned advocate representing the private respondent Bajid Hossain submits that on the selfsame issue the Court passed an order in W.P. 17243 (W) of 2021 on 8th December, 2021, wherein the Court directed the District Inspector of Schools to take a decision with regard to the panel which was forwarded by the Madrasah for appointment of Assistant Head Master.

The said Bajid Hossain is also an Assistant Teacher of the same High Madrasah. He was also one of the noticees whereby he was directed to attend hearing on 25.03.2021. A panel has already been prepared and forwarded to the District Inspector of Schools.

The District Inspector of Schools is directed to take a decision with regard to the panel forwarded for appointment of Assistant Head Master strictly in accordance with law. A reasoned order shall be passed by the said District Inspector of Schools at the earliest, but positively within the time as specified in the order dated 8th December, 2021 passed in W.P. 17243 (W) of 2021.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
