Pursuant to the earlier order dated 5.12.2023, a report has been submitted by Mr. Pravas Bhattacharya, ld. advocate for the State. The said report reflects that the evidence of P.W.13 has already been completed. Few more witnesses are left to be examined and the next date has been fixed by the ld. Special Court on 20th of March, 2024. The report so filed be kept with the record.

Ld. Special Court would fix a schedule consisting of three dates and fix such schedule in the month of March, April and May, 2024 and complete the evidence of the prosecution witness. No unnecessary adjournment be granted to either of the parties.

If any witness is not available, in that case, the office of the Commissioner of Police of the concerned district be communicated. The concerned office of the Commissioner of Police will submit a report regarding the availability of the witnesses or in the alternative, ensure the appearance of the witnesses on the date so fixed.

Ld. Public Prosecutor conducting the case would produce the materials, exhibits and the documents on the date so fixed for evidence. All stakeholder would cooperate with the ld. trial court and complete the trial at the earliest. With the aforesaid observations, CRR 1264 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is also disposed of. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.
