Mr. Kallol Basu Mr. Suman Banerjee ..... for respondent No. 6 The learned advocate representing the petitioner submits, upon instructions, that the Joint Secretary, Department of Higher Education, College Section Branch has issued a memo being No. 2052Edn(CS)/3A-01/2018(pt) dated 18th December, 2019 wherein it has been mentioned that by order of the Governor permission has been accorded to the drawal of full House Rent Allowance in respect of the petitioner, Assistant Professor, Geography, Barasat College, North 24 Parganas with effect from 23rd July, subject to other conditions as set-forth thereunder.

The learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner as well as the State submits that the dues have since been paid.

In view of the aforesaid, the instant writ petition stands disposed of.

The State authorities are directed to act strictly in terms of the aforesaid memo dated 18th December, 2019.

The memo dated 18th December, 2019 is retained with the records.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon completion of usual legal formalities.
