IN THE HIGH COURT AT CALCUTTA
Item No.43 CRIMINAL REVISIONAL JURISDICTION Ct.No.34 dc.
C.R.R. 1266 of 2023 In the matter of : Manjila Khatun ... Petitioner.
Earlier this revisional application was called on 05.12.2023 when an accommodation was prayed for. Today also when the revisional application is called, none represents the petitioner.
The present case was preferred for quashing of Falta Police Station Case No. 266 of 2022 dated 29.10.2022 which was registered for investigation under Sections 448/325/326B/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The enclosure to the revisional application is only the certified copy of the FIR. Having considered the period during which the petitioner approached this Court and more than 16 months having passed, I am of the view that if till date the investigation has not been concluded, the investigating agency will take the case to its logical conclusion.
The petitioner would be at liberty to approach this Court after the report under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is filed and the documents under Section 207 of the Code of Criminal Procedure are supplied to the petitioner.
With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 1266 of 2023 is disposed of.
Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
