The proceedings are pending since the year 2017. The order sheets so enclosed along with revisional application reflects that there was a direction in CRM 2367 of 2021 for expediting the progress of the trial and for consideration of charges. The Learned Trial Court, thereafter, thought it fit to fix a date after four months i.e. April 2, 2022, April 4, 2022 and April 5, 2022 for examination of three charge sheeted witnesses. Dates have been fixed, thereafter, it seems that no witnesses till date has examined as the next schedule was also fixed for the same witnesses. The Sub Divisional Police Officer/ Deputy Superintendent or an Officer of equivalent rank having jurisdiction over Dankuni Police Station would act as a Nodal officer in respect of Dankuni police station case no.86 of 2017 and take all efforts for availability of all the witnesses as also the materials/Alamats/documents to be relied upon in course of trial. No unnecessary adjournments should

be granted to either of the parties. The Nodal Officer would ensure the availability of the witnesses on the date so fixed. The Learned Trial Court would fix his schedule of date in such a manner that the present trial is concluded by November 30, 2022. It is expected that the Learned Trial Court would follow the letter and spirit of the order.

Accordingly, CRR 1500 of 2022 is disposed.
