Mr. Maiti, learned counsel representing the opposite party No. 2 and Mr. Panda, learned counsel representing the opposite party No. 1 are present. It is submitted that Mr. Pradip Kumar Jaiswal filed this application seeking quashment of the proceeding being S.L. No. 96/2006 (T.R. 40/2008) in connection with Liluah RPF (W/S) Case No. 6 of 2006 dated 26th December, 2006. But the proceeding was concluded with an order of conviction passed on 30th April, 2018. Learned Trial Court was pleased to hold Pradip Kumar Jaiswal guilty of the
offence punishable under Section 3 (a) of RP (UP) Act and he was sentenced to pay fine of Rs. 2000/- Photocopy of the order dated 30th April, 2018 passed by learned Trial Court is taken on record. Since the criminal proceeding sought to be quashed has been disposed of, this revisional application has become devoid of merit and is disposed of being infructuous. ( Siddhartha Roy Chowdhury, J.)
