The petitioner had participated in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2014 conducted by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education, but was unsuccessful.

The petitioner though has prayed for appointment as an Assistant Teacher in Primary Schools but admittedly she was unsuccessful in the said TET 2014, consequently is not eligible to participate in the selection process for recruitment of Assistant Teacher in primary schools. Learned advocate for the petitioner prays that at least the result of the petitioner in the said TET 2014 be supplied to her.

Learned advocate for Board submits that way back on September 14, 2016 the Board by a Notification gave opportunity to the participants of TET 2014 to have their results but the petitioner did not apply.

In view of the facts and circumstances as stated above, this Court is not inclined to entertain the said prayer of the petitioner.

W.P.A. 9154 of 2024 is therefore dismissed without any order as to costs.
