The petitioner is aggrieved by the delay in disbursement of his retiral benefits.

Learned Counsel for the school authority submits that such delay was caused due to the delay in settlement of the claim of the petitioner for higher pay scale on basis of his enhanced qualification. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the said issue was settled long back in 2016 by virtue of an order passed in W.P 4143(W) of 2010.

Be that as it may, it appears from the submission of Mr. Bhaskar Vaishya, learned Additional Government Pleader that the Pension Payment Order in favour of the petitioner has already been issued.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner, on instruction from his client who is present in Court, also submits that his client has received the pension payment order. In view of such development, no further order(s) need be passed in the present writ petition.

Accordingly, W.P.A. 9549 of 2021 is disposed of without any order as to costs.

The petitioner, for delayed payment of his retiral benefits, is entitled to apply for interest.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
