1. Heard the learned Advocates appearing for both the parties.

2. We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner is the husband of the victim lady. She had made a dying declaration implicating the petitioner as the principal accused. Petitioner does not stand on the same footing with co-accused who has been enlarged on bail. Offences, if proved, would attract mandatory life imprisonment. In view of the incriminating material on record and the gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
