1. Petitioner is in custody for more than four years. He submits there is slow progress in trial. He renews his bail prayer.

2. Learned lawyer for the State opposes the bail prayer. He submits bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected earlier in July 2023 and trial court was directed to conclude the trial within two years. Time-frame has not lapsed.

3. We have considered the materials on record. Bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected earlier in July 2023. Trial court was directed to conclude the trial preferably within two years but timeframe has not expired.

4. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected.

6. Trial court is requested to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date.
