The application is disposed of by taking up the writ petition for consideration.

Petitioner seeks a direction for a representation dated June 19, 2020 to be disposed of by the transmission company.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the private respondent was engaged by the transmission company to undertake certain works. The private respondent is using the land belonging to the petitioner and not paying any compensation with regard thereto. Representation to the transmission company did not evoke any responsibility.

State and the transmission company are represented.

Apparently, the dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents are civil in nature and are between private parties. Neither the State nor the distribution company has any role to play in a private dispute of this nature. No legal right of the petitioner has been affected by any action either by the State or by the transmission company.

In such circumstances the question of directing any State authority to decide the representation dated June 19, 2020 does not arise.

WPA 6316 of 2020 (Old No. WP 6316(W) of 2020) is disposed of without any order as to costs. (Debangsu Basak, J.)
