Petitioner has approached this Court being aggrieved by the information furnished to the Officer-inCharge, Burdwan Sadar Police Station in respect of some of his office colleagues.

State has submitted that the petitioner has been transferred to a different office of Uttar Dinajpur. Having regard to the nature of the contention, prima facie, I do not find that there was any mistake of the Officer-in-Charge, Burdwan Sadar Police Station. However, if the petitioner has materials in his possession, petitioner will approach before the Jurisdictional Magistrate or the Jurisdictional Special Court by invoking the relevant provisions of law. Learned Magistrate or the learned Special Court will assess regarding the substance of the accusations and exercise their discretion in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 8473 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
