JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by T.S. SIVAGNANAM, C.J.)

1. This intra-Court appeal by the writ petitioner is directed against the order dated 20th June, 2022 in W.P.A. No.10931 of 2020. The prayer sought for by the appellant/writ petitioner was for granting renewal of his gun license.

2. Records show that the criminal proceedings are pending against the appellant/writ petitioner as well as his daughter. That apart, there is delay of

617 days in filing the application for condonation of delay and there is no satisfactory explanation for condonation of delay.

3. Therefore, the application for condonation of delay (IA No. CAN 1 of 2024), appeal as well as connected application (CAN 2 of 2024) are dismissed.

4. No costs.
