The petitioner seeks disposal of her representation being Annexure P-4 at page 28 of the writ petition by the Block Development Officer, Kulpi Block.

Without going into the merits of the claims of the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Block Development Officer, Kulpi Block to dispose of the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law upon granting an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as also the Pradhan, Gazipur Gram Panchayat and all other interested parties including the secretary of the gram panchayat office. A reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to all concerned.

This order shall not be construed as an observation on the correctness of the allegations. The Block Development Officer shall inquire into the matter on the basis of the records available in the

gram panchayat office and pass necessary orders accordingly.

The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of communication of this order.

The writ petition is, thus, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Parties are to act on the server copy of this order.
