The respondents are not represented despite service. The petitioner alleges that the Pradhan, 8 No. Pundari Gram Panchayat, being the 7th respondent herein, is constructing a road by encroaching upon the petitioner's land.

The petitioner submitted a representation before the concerned authority in this regard on 16th March, 2026 and seeks consideration fo the same.

Since the petitioner alleges encroachment of his land by the Pradhan, 8 No. Pundari Gram Panchayat, being the 7th respondent herein, the Block Development Officer, Harirampur Block, being the 5th respondent herein, is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner within six weeks from the date of communication of this order upon affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to all concerned including the petitioner, in accordance with law.

The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereof.

No further construction shall continue in/through the petitioner's land till disposal of the representation. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
