The West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited submits that, in order to provide the electricity connection, way-leave permission is required from the owners of three adjacent plots.

In light of the above, I dispose of this writ petition, granting liberty to the petitioner to file an application before the District Magistrate of Murshidabad for resolution of the matter under Section 3(b) of the Works of Licensees Rules, 2006.

The District Magistrate of Murshidabad shall hear the petitioner, representatives of the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited, and the concerned individuals from whom way-leave permissions

are required.

Accordingly, WPA 8491 of 2025 is disposed of. Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
