By this writ petition, petitioners have made a very innocuous prayer for direction upon the CIT (Appeals) concerned to consider and dispose of the pending appeal in question which has been filed on 29.08.2016 as appears from page 15 of the writ petition.

Considering the facts and circumstances of this case this writ petition being WPA 9205 of 2024 is disposed of by directing the respondent CIT (Appeals) concerned to consider and dispose of the pending appeal in question filed by the petitioners expeditiously and preferably within six months from the date of communication of this order.

Petitioners shall communicate this order to the department also directly.
