Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 356 days. The police filed charge-sheet, therefore, further detention of the petitioner is not required.

The incident arose out of a previous enmity between the petitioner and the victim.

The materials in the case diary demonstrate that the victim suffered acid burn.

Considering the materials in the case diary implicating the petitioner in the offences alleged in the incident, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.

CRM (DB) 1210 of 2022 is rejected.
