As none appears on behalf of the State, Mr.

Subrata Guha Biswas, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears for the State, is directed to represent the State. His appointment may be regularised by the concerned authorities.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners is directed to hand over a copy of the writ petition to learned advocate appearing for the State.

The petitioners are aggrieved by the fact that the respondent no.4 took a sum of Rs.4,00,000/- for providing him a job as a Facility Manager under the Department of Health, Government of West Bengal, but the respondent no.4 could not provide the said job as also did not refund the said money. To that effect, information was furnished on 14.02.2023 with the Officer-in-Charge, Serampore Police Station.

Having regard to the nature of the accusation, if till date no case has been registered on the selfsame subject-matter as prima facie it reflects that a cognizable offence has been made

out, the police authorities will freshly consider the representation dated 14.02.2023 so made by the petitioner in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 8500 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
