Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a senior citizen who is being disturbed and harassed at the behest of the respondent Nos. 5 and 6, to that effect, petitioner has informed the police station but, till date no action has been taken.

Learned Advocate for the State has submitted a report which reflects that pursuant to the information furnished proceedings under Section 107/ 116 Cr.P.C has been drawn up.

Learned Advocate for the private respondent Nos.5 and 6 disputes and denies the allegations in

respect of both disturbance and harassment as well as regarding encroachment or grabbing of any property.

Be that as it may, having regard that there is an admitted inimical relationship between the petitioner and the private respondent I direct the Officer-in-Charge, Chakdah Police Station to keep a strict vigil and to ensure that no breach of peace or tranquility takes place at the locale or any untoward incident crops up because of the relationship existing between the parties.

Report submitted in Court be kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner. With the aforesaid observations WPA 8501 of 2023 is disposed of .

There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
