The present writ application has been filed praying for release of provident fund accumulations in favour of the petitioners who are the legal heirs of Dhanuram Mahato, since deceased.

Records reveal that, by an order dated November 30, 2022, this Hon'ble Court, upon taking into consideration the fact that the claim application pertains to the year 2008, had called upon the respondent no.1 to disclose as to the steps taken by them subsequent to receipt of the claim application filed by the petitioners in Form-20 in the year 2008.

Today Mr. Kundu, learned Advocate representing the Provident Fund Authorities, on instruction submits that the Provident Fund accumulations in respect of Dhanuram Mahato have already been settled and disbursed in favour of his family members in terms of the

Employees' Provident Fund Scheme, 1952 on 19th December, 2022 through NEFT.

In support of his aforesaid contention, Mr. Kundu, learned Advocate for the Provident Fund Authorities, placed a communication dated December 30, 2022, issued by the Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (Legal), before this Court. Let the same be taken on record.

In view thereof, nothing remains to adjudicate in the matter. The writ application being WPA 8099 of 2022 is accordingly disposed of.

Let urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
