The petitioner is seeking release in connection with Haringhata Police Station Case No. 287 of 2020 dated 19.11.2020 under Sections 376D of the Indian Penal Code. Having heard the learned Advocate for the petitioner and the learned Advocate for the State and on careful perusal of the application for bail as well as the case diary, specially the statement of the victim at page 30 of the case diary and her statement made before the Medical Officer at page 21 of the case diary, there remains direct complicity of the present accused petitioner, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. As such, the prayer for bail is rejected.

The application being CRM 3310 of 2021 accordingly dismissed.
