Pursuant to the order dated 7th January, 2025, Mr. Swapan Samanta, District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Paschim Medinipur is personally present before this court.
During course of hearing a copy of the memo dated 8th January, 2025 is placed before this court which is taken on record. From the said memo dated 8th January, 2025 issued by the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Paschim Medinipur, it appears that pension papers were forwarded to the office of the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance, West Bengal on 8th January, 2025 for issuance of pension payment order in order to release family pension in favour of the petitioner being widowed daughter. Taking note of the memo dated 8th January, 2025 and the submissions made on behalf of the
concerned District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), it appears that the said District Inspector of Schools (S.E.) has taken steps in terms of the order dated 27th September, 2024 by forwarding the pension papers to the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance, West Bengal.
The Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance, West Bengal being respondent no.3 is directed to issue pension payment order in favour of the petitioner by fortnight from the date of communication of this order.
With the above directions, writ petition stands disposed of.
Personal appearance of Mr. Swapan Samanta, District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Paschim Medinipur stands dispensed with.
Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
