Mr. Madhusudan Sur, APP Ms. Rita Dutta .....Advocates Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner was not named as an accused in the FIR.

Government fund was allegedly misappropriated by two employees of the office of the B.L. & L.R.O. The present petitioner is not connected with the alleged offences.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the case diary and opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He submits that the bail application of one of the prime accused has been turned down by this Court. Substantial sum

of money amounting to about Rs.10 to 12 lakhs was transferred from the account of the co-accused to the account of the present petitioner. The petitioner is absconding. Considering the alleged complicity of the petitioner in the offences committed, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail being CRM(A) 1285 of 2025 is rejected.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order may be delivered to the learned Advocates for the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all formalities.
