Petitioner and the private respondents are at loggerhead. As such both the parties are instituting complaints with the police authorities.

The grievance of the present petitioner is that his complaint dated 04.03.2024 was not acted upon by the Officer-in-Charge, Diamond Harbour Police Station.

Learned advocate appearing for the state has submitted that, so far as the complaint dated 04.03.2024 is concerned, police authorities have already registered a criminal case being Diamond Harbour PS Case No. 164/24 dated 12.04.2024.

In view of the police authorities having taken action pursuant to the complaint being filed and investigation having commenced, I direct the police authorities to take the investigation of the case to its logical conclusion.

In the meantime, since both the petitioner and the private respondents are at loggerhead, police authorities would ensure that no breach of the peace takes place and/or any further untoward incident results because of the inimical relationship between the petitioner and the private respondent.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 9233 of 2024 is disposed of.
