Ghosh ....for the private Respondent No. 5 and 6 The grievance of the petitioner is directed against non-supply of an electricity connection to the premises of the petitioner.

On behalf of the respondent WBSEDCL, it is submitted that any attempt to provide electricity connection to the premises of the petitioner can only be undertaken after installation of an electrical pole. There are also private disputes between the petitioner and the private respondent.

In view of the above, WPA 8896 of 2026 stands disposed of by directing the concerned District Magistrate having jurisdiction in the matter to address the grievance of the petitioner for providing a separate electricity connection. In

carrying out such exercise the District Magistrate would afford a right of hearing to all the parties including the private respondent and the WBSEDCL.

Let this exercise be completed within eight weeks from the date of communication of this order to the concerned District Magistrate.
