We are unable to agree with the submission made on behalf of the petitioner that the authority concerned has acted contumaciously disregarding our order dated August 24, 2020. The application for contempt is, thus, dismissed. However, dismissal of the contempt petition shall not preclude the petitioner from taking appropriate steps in accordance with law.

We make it clear that we have not gone into the merits of the order dated November 11, 2020 passed by the Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Eastern Railway, Howrah.
