Petitioner complains that in spite of informing the police authorities of Daspur Police Station, no steps were taken and the allegations of the petitioner related to preparation of fake and fraudulent documents at the behest of the private respondents.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report. Report reflects that Daspur Police Station Case No.124 of 2024 dated 15.03.2024 has been registered for investigation and notices have been issued under Section 41A of the Cr.P.C. Further requisition has been also sent to ADSR, Daspur, Paschim Medinipur for collection of the documents. Having considered that the police authorities are taking steps, I am of the view that the purpose for which the writ petition has been preferred has already been sub-served, further pendency of the writ petition

is unwarranted. Police authorities would take the investigation of the case to its logical conclusion. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 8544 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
