Mr. Mit Guha Roy ....for the petitioner.

Petitioner has prayed for expeditious disposal of the proceedings being AC Case No. 530 of 2017 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 2nd court, Alipore.

Record reflects that the case was instituted in the year 2017 and the evidence of the case is still in progress.

Having considered that more than 6 years have passed since the initiation of the proceedings, learned trial court would fix at least one date in every two months so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

No unnecessary adjournment be granted to any of the parties and the trial of the case would continue in spite of any resolution of the local Bar. The learned conducting advocates under no circumstances would stall the present proceedings.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 1363 of 2024 is disposed of.
