The present proceedings being related to complaint case No. AC 1869 of 2020 is pending before the learned A. C. J. M, Alipore. Petitioner is the complainant before the learned Magistrate and is aggrieved by the fact that even after the plea being recorded on 6th May, 2022 till date the application under Section 143A of the N. I. Act is pending. The next date is fixed on 4th May, 2024(as has been informed by the learned advocate for the petitioner). In view of the complaint case being initiated in the year 2020 and the application under Section 143A of the N. I. Act is pending for a substantial period of time, I direct the learned trial court would take endeavour to dispose of the application under S.143A of the N. I. Act on the next date so fixed or within a month thereafter.

The learned trial court would thereafter fix dates for the trial of the case by at least ensuring a single date being fixed in every 60 days so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. No unnecessary adjournment be granted to any of the parties and the trial of the case should continue in spite of any resolution of the local Bar. The learned conducting advocates would not stall the proceedings because of such resolution.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 1364 of 2024 is disposed of.
