Petitioner has prayed for expeditious disposal of the proceedings being AC Case No. 804 of 2018 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 9th court, Alipore.

In view of the proceedings pending for more than five years, I direct the learned trial court to fix at least one date in every month for the purposes of the examination of the witness in this particular case so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. No unnecessary adjournment be granted to any of the parties and the trial of the case would continue in spite of any resolution of the local Bar. The learned conducting advocates under no circumstances would stall the present proceedings.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 1365 of 2024 is disposed of.
