The petitioner participated in the recruitment process initiated by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education in the year 2016.

His allegation is that the result of the examination has not been intimated to him.

When a candidate appears in a public examination, it is the duty and obligation of the candidate to keep an eye on the official website of the examination conducting body to see whether the result has been declared or not. The result of the examination was duly declared and published in the office board of the district Councils throughout the State.

It appears that the petitioner was not diligent enough and failed to collect the information in proper time. The entire recruitment process was over and appointment letters were issued in the year 2017. After

the said recruitment examination was concluded a fresh recruitment process was initiated in the year 2020 which is going to be concluded shortly.

At this stage, the submission and the prayer of the petitioner to disclose his marks in respect of the recruitment process initiated in the year 2016 cannot be accepted. The prayer of the petitioner accordingly stands disallowed.

The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties after completion of all legal formalities.
